Analista Contable

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Honduras.

📋 Description

• Support in accounting registration: Entering invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other documents into the accounting system.

• Classification and coding of transactions according to the chart of accounts.

• Reconciliation of basic accounts: Assisting in the reconciliation of bank accounts and accounts receivable/payable.

• Monitoring outstanding balances and accounting discrepancies.

• Document control: Organizing, physically and digitally filing accounting and financial documents.

• Ensuring documentation meets fiscal and accounting requirements.

• Assistance in accounting closing processes: Preparing accounting auxiliaries.

• Reviewing and delivering preliminary reports for the monthly closing.

• Invoicing and collections: Issuing invoices and following up on customer payments.

• Coordinating with the sales or customer service area for collections management.

• Managing payments to suppliers: Reviewing received invoices.

• Preparing payments and monitoring due dates.

• Analyzing and reconciling revenues.

• Analyzing and reconciling accounts receivable, inventory, and accounts related to operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ongoing or completed technical or university studies in Accounting, Administration, Finance, or related fields.

• Additional courses or diplomas in: Basic Accounting, Handling accounting systems, Current fiscal regulations are valued.

• Basic knowledge of: Accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS, depending on the country), Invoicing and withholdings, Common taxes (VAT, withholdings, etc.).

• 1 to 2 years of experience in similar positions (desirable but not always mandatory).

• Entering vouchers into the accounting system.

• Handling accounting documents and filing.

• Assisting in bank reconciliations.

• Invoicing and managing collections or payments.

• Experience with: Accounting systems or ERPs (for example, SAP, Workday, PeopleSoft, among others) is valued.

• Intermediate use of Excel (filters, basic formulas, pivot tables).
