AMS Data Platform Support Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist in the maintenance and support of data platforms to ensure seamless operations and effective incident management.

• Manage workloads on Azure Databricks, including notebooks, jobs, clusters, Delta tables, and Unity Catalog.

• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps.

• Diagnose and resolve issues in Azure Data Factory pipelines.

• Provide support for Power BI environments, including workspaces, refresh processes, access management, and report availability.

• Oversee and manage data structures within Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2.

• Promote Infrastructure as Code methodologies utilizing Terraform and Azure Blueprints.

• Offer operational support for Azure virtual machines.

• Troubleshoot issues related to Azure networking, including VNets, NSGs, DNS, and connectivity.

• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation, runbooks, and the knowledge base.

• Engage in continuous improvement efforts, automation, and standardization of platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in supporting and maintaining cloud data platforms.

• In-depth knowledge of Azure Databricks and Unity Catalog.

• Familiarity with CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps.

• Understanding of Azure Data Factory operations.

• Experience with Power BI, including workspace management and governance.

• Knowledge of Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 functionalities.

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code practices, specifically with Terraform and/or Azure Blueprints.

• Experience with Azure Virtual Machines and networking principles.

• Proficient in English for effective communication with international teams (B2/C1 level).
