Alumni Relationship Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary liaison for alumni in your designated area, offering tailored guidance and support.

• Facilitate individual calls and group discussions to evaluate alumni requirements, monitor career advancements, and pinpoint potential growth or re-enrolment opportunities.

• Gather insights and feedback from alumni engagements to provide valuable information to product, data, and program teams.

• Work closely with Community Managers, General Managers, and the central Relationship Management team to deliver a seamless alumni experience.

• Maintain CRM records meticulously, ensuring the accuracy of alumni profiles, call results, and employment updates.

• Assist with job readiness, re-enrolment, and community engagement initiatives within your specific city or region.

• Represent the ALX brand as an ambassador — showcasing empathy, professionalism, and a profound understanding of our mission to empower young African talent.

• Communicate proficiently in both English and French to connect with alumni, employers, and institutional partners across different linguistic backgrounds.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in community engagement, communications, education, or a related discipline.

• Must be fluent in both written and spoken English and French.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities; adept at managing multiple priorities effectively.

• Experience with CRMs (preferably HubSpot) and digital communication platforms (WhatsApp, Slack, Zoom, etc.).

• Proven ability to collect insights, recognize trends, and convert qualitative feedback into practical recommendations.

• A strong passion for education, employability, and community development in Africa.
