This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the implementation of donor stewardship initiatives in collaboration with the Director.
• Execute donor stewardship projects targeted at various audiences within Development, covering alumni, donor experience, events, communications, and engagement touchpoints.
• Ensure donor-facing communications and experiences are delivered with organizational excellence, warmth, and clarity.
• Aid in managing project timelines, vendor coordination, and communication across teams.
• Participate in on-site events as required.
• Organize stewardship communications and tracking systems.
• Strengthen stewardship rhythms with stakeholders in collaboration with the supervisor and leadership.
• Compose and, when suitable, personally write donor-facing thank-you cards, invitations, letters, notes, and other correspondence.
• Collect and apply feedback.
• Work with Communications, Field Ministry, and other departments to ensure consistent messaging, branding, priorities, and culture.
• Act as the point of contact for a designated audience concerning stewardship-related communication.
• Prepare briefing documents and internal summaries.
• Maintain project plans, dashboards, databases, and timelines.
• Keep accurate records and manage lists using platforms such as Salesforce and RegFox.
• Identify and propose workflow enhancements.
• Ensure timely project execution while maintaining high standards of excellence.
• Follow InterVarsity’s program standard operating systems, policies, and procedures.
• Annually affirm InterVarsity’s Statement of Faith.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Preferred experience in Development, Communications, Project Management, or Donor Relations.
• Proven ability and dedication to working within a diverse team environment.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency with current Microsoft software applications.
• Strong organizational and project coordination abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities with a keen attention to detail.
• High relational intelligence and discretion.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
• Ability to cultivate a ministry support team that will pray, support, and contribute financially.
