This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Navigate and address challenges within accounts by providing customized solutions.
• Develop strategic territory plans to enhance product demand and improve patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with territory teammates, field teams, and home-office colleagues to meet customer needs and provide access support.
• Analyze market dynamics, competitive landscape, territory data, and market trends to identify opportunities and challenges.
• Discover local insights and lead impactful virtual or in-person customer interactions.
• Conduct planning sessions with key stakeholders to address complex challenges.
• Provide real-time access support and work in conjunction with Patient Specialty Services.
• Leverage digital tools and omni-channel strategies to tailor outreach across both virtual and face-to-face environments.
• Act as the main point of contact for accounts and Health Care Providers.
• Foster meaningful customer relationships, identify common priorities, and connect customers to Novartis resources.
• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized 4-year college or university is mandatory.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, medical devices, diagnostics, life sciences services, insurance, consumer health, B2B, or similarly intricate sales settings.
• For Territory Account Specialist level: At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• For Senior Territory Account Specialist level: At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• For Executive Territory Account Specialist level: At least 10 years of relevant experience.
• For Associate level: Limited prior sales experience is acceptable, or 4+ years of US military service in a leadership role for recently transitioned military candidates.
• Demonstrated history of consistently high performance.
• Experience in navigating and selling to large accounts and key clients.
• Analytical skills to identify, prioritize, and utilize relevant information to solve customer issues.
• Ethical leadership skills and the ability to promote ethical behavior and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Must live within the territory or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 50 miles from the territory border.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% across a wide geography, including driving and/or flying within the territory.
• A fully valid and unrestricted driver's license is required.
• Capability to collaborate across functions in a matrix environment and communicate clinical product information effectively.
• Preferred experience includes participation in the 2-year Novartis Sales Internship Program for Associate level candidates.
• Desirable: Experience across various therapeutic areas, disease states, account management strategies, and new product launches.
• Desirable: Knowledge of patient services, market access, buy and bill processes, specialty pharmacy, reimbursement, and medical outreach to HCPs.
• Customer-facing employees must adhere to applicable customer credentialing guidelines, which may necessitate COVID-19 vaccination.
