Air Traffic Training Adaptation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Offer operational assistance to the TFDM program office and field facilities before and during system installation.

• Enhance activities and communication between TFDM personnel and field facilities.

• Deliver training using validated TFDM Air Traffic training materials.

• Travel as necessary, up to 75% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 14 years or more of experience, or a Master’s degree with 12 years or more of experience; relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.

• Extensive background in designing, developing, and installing NAS air traffic modernization projects.

• In-depth understanding of air traffic operations and procedures in both en route and terminal environments.

• Familiarity with TFDM functionality.

• Experience in coordinating work efforts that involve decision support systems.

• Proven track record of supporting and liaising with operational field facilities during system deployment.

• Capability to communicate effectively with FAA organizations, such as AMO, AJV, AJT, AJW, and NATCA.

• Proficient in MS Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Knowledge of 7110.65 and its application within the NAS.

• Understanding of FAA automation and traffic management systems.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, utilizing both technical and user-friendly language.

• Adaptability, self-motivation, and a readiness to multitask.

• Strong proficiency in researching and analyzing complex technical information and systems.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Demonstrated communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Willingness and ability to travel.

• Capacity to meet FAA resume and security approval requirements.

• Must be a US citizen.

• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
