Air Quality Compliance Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Air Quality Program at Depot Connect International (DCI)

• Collaborate closely with DCI staff, government regulators, business partners, industry stakeholders, and consultants

• Serve as the main corporate representative with regulatory bodies regarding air quality matters

• Foster organization-wide awareness of the air quality Program through training and outreach initiatives

• Evaluate the effectiveness of facility environmental compliance efforts by conducting regular air quality audits

• Enhance corporate compliance and minimize potential liability for DCI.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, environmental, or mechanical engineering, atmospheric science, or a related field

• Master's degree is an advantage

• Professional certification highly preferred: Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Air Permitting Professional (CAPP), etc.

• At least 10 years of professional experience in the environmental sector, specifically working with Air Districts and similar agencies and their programs

• Proven knowledge of air emissions reporting processes

• Experience with Title V; PSD, NSR, Best Available Control Technology (BACT), Best Available Retrofit Control Technology (BARCT), and/or Maximum Achievable Control Technology (MACT)

• Familiarity with permitting for Title V, Annual Emissions Reporting, Air Dispersion Modeling, and Air Quality Assessments (Data Analysis and Emission Inventories)

• Strong background in pollution control and equipment systems is a plus

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple project assignments and meeting deadlines

• Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental laws, regulations, and standards

• Must work well collaboratively, both internally and externally, including with regulatory agencies.
