This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Assist and support various business development initiatives.
• Lead and conduct on-site stack testing and source emissions monitoring following federal and regional regulatory standards (e.g., EPA Reference Methods, ECCC).
• Organize and oversee field deployments, which include crew logistics, equipment setup, and safety protocols.
• Analyze gathered data while ensuring strict adherence to QA/QC protocols during testing and reporting.
• Act as a technical liaison for clients, regulators, and internal teams to convey project scope, progress, and results.
• Train, mentor, and oversee junior field technicians and new team members.
• Troubleshoot and maintain analytical and sampling equipment, ensuring precision and dependability.
• Assist in project scoping, scheduling, and budgeting in partnership with project managers and senior leadership.
• Stay informed on changing environmental regulations and industry best practices, proactively adjusting procedures and technologies.
• Prepare and perform QA/QC on high-quality technical reports, including regulatory documentation, emissions data summaries, and field observations.
• Post-secondary education in Environmental Technology, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Ideally, a minimum of 10 years of experience in the Air Quality sector.
• Experience in ambient monitoring is a plus.
• Proficient computer and hands-on analytical skills.
• A knack for practical problem-solving.
• Field/site experience is a significant advantage.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and team-oriented skills, combined with high motivation.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional organizational, coordination, and consultation skills.
• Willingness to travel and work outdoors, including long hours, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to collect samples in locations that may involve working at heights and outdoors in various weather conditions.
