AI/ML Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Construct and enhance our AI/ML layer within the cloud platform.

• Integrate large language models (LLMs) and machine learning services into our business applications.

• Develop APIs and microservices to support AI functionalities.

• Create and manage MLOps pipelines for the training, deployment, and monitoring of models.

• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, embeddings, and vector search capabilities.

• Incorporate external AI services and models into our systems.

• Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of AI services.

• Collaborate effectively with software, platform, and data teams.

• Assess and explore new AI technologies, frameworks, and tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, or a related field.

• Several years of experience in software or platform development.

• Strong expertise in Python programming.

• Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and cloud architectures.

• Experience with machine learning or large language models.

• Proficiency in container technologies (Docker) and Kubernetes.

• Understanding of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code practices.

• An analytical approach to work and a keen interest in modern AI technologies.

• Nice to have: experience with LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex).

• Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector).

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Experience with MLOps tools and model serving techniques.

• Experience in automating business processes using AI technologies.
