This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.
• Develop production augmentation and profile models: Create, train, assess, and implement models using real survey data, managing the entire process from experimentation to deployment.
• Innovate solutions: Our goal is to construct the industry's most effective simulation of survey responses. You will be responsible for designing experiments, establishing baselines, and creating models to achieve this aim.
• Utilize cutting-edge technology: Work with the best open-weight LLMs through fine-tuning, develop new models from scratch using custom architectures, or leverage third-party models via an API; whatever delivers the optimal results.
• Collaborate with Data Science: Partner with the data science team to maintain the integrity of our statistical testing and experimental framework.
• Employ AI tools: Utilize Claude Code and agentic programming tools as deemed appropriate.
• Strong understanding of mathematics, probability, statistics, and algorithms.
• Proficient programming skills, particularly in Python.
• Knowledge of Java is advantageous.
• Familiarity with traditional machine learning tools and techniques such as support vector machines and gradient boosting.
• Understanding of LLMs and their architecture, preferably with experience in fine-tuning techniques like LoRA and distillation.
• Proficient in SQL; knowledge of Databricks is a plus.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• A desire to continuously expand your knowledge base.
• Ability to take ownership of your conclusions and confidently present them to influence outcomes.
