This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Design, develop, refine, and assess machine learning, deep learning, and Generative AI models, including Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Select suitable modeling techniques (supervised, unsupervised, NLP, deep learning) according to the problem context and data limitations.
• Enhance model performance across dimensions of accuracy, latency, scalability, and cost.
• Undertake thorough model evaluation, validation, and benchmarking utilizing large-scale datasets.
• Employ data preprocessing, feature engineering, augmentation, and synthetic data generation methods to bolster model robustness.
• Create and execute scalable, production-ready AI solutions that integrate with current platforms and workflows.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance MLOps pipelines for model training, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Deploy and oversee AI applications in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP), including containerization and orchestration when necessary.
• Track model performance in production; detect drift, degradation, or failures and implement corrective measures.
• Diagnose and resolve AI/ML engineering challenges across both development and production settings.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, Software Engineers, Data Scientists, and Research teams to ensure AI solutions align with business and product goals.
• Convert product requirements and use cases into technical architectures and model designs.
• Facilitate the integration of AI capabilities into customer-facing products and internal systems.
• Articulate technical concepts, trade-offs, and limitations effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Work with both structured and unstructured datasets, including healthcare, claims, and life sciences data, to develop high-performance AI systems.
• Ensure responsible handling, transformation, and validation of data utilized for model training and inference.
• Collaborate with data engineering and QA teams to guarantee data pipelines and AI workflows are production-ready and auditable.
• Stay updated with advancements in Generative AI, LLM architectures, model fine-tuning techniques, and applied machine learning.
• Contribute to internal best practices, standards, and reusable components for AI/ML development.
• Document AI/ML workflows, architectures, methodologies, and lessons learned for internal knowledge sharing.
• Proactively seek opportunities to enhance the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of existing AI systems.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
• At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in an AI/ML or data science position delivering solutions in production.
• Strong expertise in Python and SQL; experience in developing scalable ML/NLP workflows.
• Extensive hands-on experience with machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.
• Familiarity with Generative AI and Large Language Models, including techniques for fine-tuning and evaluation.
• Working knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model validation methodologies.
• Experience in deploying AI solutions in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
