This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Analyze and visualize healthcare data while ensuring its quality to derive actionable insights.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to design, prototype, and implement ML models and algorithms.
• Establish robust data workflows and advocate for MLOps best practices.
• Create and sustain scalable ML pipelines and microservices, including the automation of deployment, monitoring, and retraining processes.
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business teams to deliver significant AI solutions.
• Present insights and spearhead cross-functional AI initiatives.
• A PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning/AI, Statistics, or related fields, or a Master’s degree with over 5 years of relevant experience.
• A solid foundation in mathematics, statistics, and algorithms.
• Proficiency in programming languages: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with ML/AI tools and frameworks: Vertex AI, LangGraph, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Keras.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, GCP.
• Knowledge of data technologies: Snowflake, Apache Superset, MongoDB, Pandas, NumPy, Jupyter.
• Understanding of MLOps practices: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, MLflow, Weights & Biases.
• Experience with ML algorithms (including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning).
• Knowledge of deep learning techniques (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers).
• Proficient in statistical methods and experimental design.
• Experience with big data frameworks (Spark, Dask).
