AI/ML Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• The AI/ML Engineer is essential in creating, developing, and implementing machine learning models and AI-based solutions to enhance strategic business goals.

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including software engineering, data analytics, product development, and business stakeholders, to promote intelligent automation, data-driven decision-making, and advanced analytical capabilities.

• Design, construct, and deploy ML models for tasks such as classification, regression, natural language processing, computer vision, or time-series forecasting.

• Clean, preprocess, and transform both structured and unstructured datasets for training and inference purposes.

• Package and deploy models utilizing tools such as Docker, Flask/FastAPI, and Kubernetes.

• Engage with business stakeholders to convert real-world challenges into AI/ML applications.

• Keep abreast of the latest research, frameworks, and tools in the fields of machine learning and AI.

• Collaborate with software developers, DevOps personnel, data analysts, and domain experts to ensure comprehensive solution delivery.

• Maintain thorough documentation for models, experiments, and pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of practical experience in the development and deployment of machine learning models.

• Strong proficiency in Python and machine learning libraries (scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow/PyTorch).

• A demonstrated history of addressing real-world issues through supervised, unsupervised, or deep learning techniques.

• Experience in model evaluation, hyperparameter tuning, and pipeline automation.

• Familiarity with MLOps tools (MLflow, Airflow, DVC, Docker, Kubernetes).

• Knowledge of cloud ML services (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP AI Platform).

• Experience with NLP or computer vision frameworks (e.g., Hugging Face, OpenCV).

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
