AI/ML Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• The AI/ML Engineer is essential in the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models and AI-driven solutions that align with strategic business objectives.

• This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as software engineering, data analytics, product development, and business stakeholders, to enhance intelligent automation, facilitate data-driven decision-making, and advance analytics capabilities.

• Model Development and Optimization: Create, build, and implement ML models for tasks including classification, regression, NLP, computer vision, or time-series forecasting.

• Data Preparation and Feature Engineering: Clean, preprocess, and transform both structured and unstructured datasets for training and inference.

• Package and deploy models utilizing tools like Docker, Flask/FastAPI, and Kubernetes.

• Engage with business stakeholders to convert real-world challenges into AI/ML use cases.

• Keep abreast of the latest research, frameworks, and tools in the fields of machine learning and AI.

• Collaborate with software developers, DevOps professionals, data analysts, and domain experts for comprehensive solution delivery.

• Ensure thorough documentation for models, experiments, and pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of practical experience in the development and deployment of machine learning models.

• A demonstrated ability to address real-world problems using supervised, unsupervised, or deep learning techniques.

• Solid understanding of: Python and ML libraries (scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow/PyTorch).

• Experience with model evaluation, hyperparameter tuning, and pipeline automation.

• Knowledge of REST APIs for model serving and integration.

• Familiarity with MLOps tools (MLflow, Airflow, DVC, Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience with cloud ML services (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP AI Platform).

• Knowledge of NLP or computer vision frameworks (e.g., Hugging Face, OpenCV).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
