AI/ML Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with technology firms to pinpoint enhancements for current technologies, organizational structures, processes, and tools utilized in software product and service development.

• Partner with private equity firms and other investment organizations to assist them in comprehending the technological advantages, risks, and areas for enhancement regarding potential investments (i.e., technical due diligence).

• Craft and execute solutions from the ground up (e.g., transformations using Agile methodologies), while providing guidance and mentorship to junior software developers and other engineers.

• Work collaboratively alongside internal and client technical leaders and team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive expert-level experience in the Data Science field (data mining, statistics, machine learning, etc.) and the AI domain:

• Proficiency in analytical and generative AI.

• Assessment of existing data assets and their profiles.

• Up-to-date knowledge of the LLM landscape, including both commercial and open-source options.

• Expertise in model selection, training, and fine-tuning.

• Familiarity with model efficacy metrics and bias management strategies.

• Understanding of intellectual property considerations.

• Knowledge of ML Ops and associated tools.

• Awareness of cloud hosting solutions and self-hosting, including related economic factors.

• Experience with multi-modal AI (text, NLP/voice, images, video).

• Skills in AI-enabled software engineering.

• An advanced degree in computer science, statistics, advanced analytics, data science, machine learning, or AI.
