AI Tutor – Yoruba

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilize proprietary software to provide labels, annotations, recordings, and inputs for multilingual audio clips, voice recordings, speech samples, and auditory components.

• Translate and localize user interface copy, prompts, responses, and other written materials from English into Yoruba.

• Curate high-quality audio data that captures linguistic and prosodic features, such as intonation, rhythm, and accent.

• Collaborate with technical personnel to enhance speech modulation, variation in accents, noisy real-world recordings, and processing of multilingual audio.

• Work alongside technical staff to improve annotation tools and audio workflows.

• Train and refine Grok for optimal voice interactions, speech recognition, and multilingual auditory experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native proficiency in Yoruba, with familiarity with a range of accents, dialects, or regional variations.

• Proficient in English at a minimum B2 level.

• Possess a clear and natural vocal delivery and pronunciation appropriate for audio recording.

• Strong auditory sensitivity to nuances in speech, including accents, pronunciation, intonation, and audio quality.

• Capable of managing multilingual audio content and assessing speech accuracy, cultural vocal expressions, and contextual interpretation.

• Proficient in accurately transcribing audio across different accents and varying audio quality.

• Competent in translating and localizing text accurately between English and Yoruba.

• Comfortable providing high-quality voice recordings and feedback on audio samples in various languages.

• Strong understanding and independent judgment in dealing with ambiguous, noisy, or accented speech.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, detail-oriented, and organizational skills.

• Dedication to developing advanced multilingual audio capabilities.

• If using a personal device, it must be a Chromebook, Mac with macOS 11.0 or later, or Windows 10 or later.

• Visa sponsorship is not available.

• US-based candidates cannot be hired in Wyoming or Illinois.
