AI Tutor – Igbo

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Train and enhance Grok for voice interactions, speech recognition, and multilingual auditory experiences.

• Utilize proprietary software to label, annotate, record, and contribute to multilingual audio projects.

• Translate and localize user interface text, prompts, responses, and other written materials from English to Igbo.

• Curate high-quality audio data that captures linguistic and prosodic features such as intonation, rhythm, and accent.

• Collaborate with technical teams to enhance speech modulation, accent variation, noisy recordings, and multilingual audio processing.

• Optimize annotation tools for more effective audio workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native proficiency in Igbo, with experience in various accents, dialects, or regional variations.

• Proficiency in English at a minimum B2 level.

• Clear and natural vocal delivery with suitable pronunciation for audio recording.

• Strong auditory perception of speech nuances, accents, pronunciation, intonation, and audio quality.

• Ability to assess multilingual audio content, speech accuracy, cultural vocal expressions, and contextual interpretation.

• Skill in accurately transcribing audio across different accents and varying audio quality.

• Capability to translate and localize text precisely between English and Igbo.

• Comfort in providing high-quality voice recordings and constructive feedback on audio samples.

• Strong comprehension and independent judgment regarding ambiguous, noisy, or accented speech.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, detail-oriented, and organizational skills.

• Dedication to advancing sophisticated multilingual AI audio capabilities.

• For personal-device work: Chromebook, Mac with macOS 11.0 or later, or Windows 10 or later.

• Must satisfy legal eligibility criteria; visa sponsorship is not available.

• Preferred: background in linguistics, speech sciences, cognitive science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Preferred: experience with speech/audio datasets, annotation workflows, AI training data, voice models, translation/localization workflows, or professional voice work.
