This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.
• Develop sophisticated physics problems aimed at training and assessing frontier AI systems.
• Craft deterministic problems that have a singular correct solution.
• Create comprehensive, verified solutions while thoroughly documenting the reasoning process.
• Formulate problems that challenge deep physical reasoning and require multi-step analysis, rather than mere memorization.
• Utilize Python or specialized tools when relevant to construct simulations, models, or computational workflows.
• Guarantee that all outputs are technically accurate, reproducible, and well-articulated in English.
• Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD in Physics or a closely related discipline.
• Significant research or industry experience in theoretical, experimental, or computational physics.
• Proficient in Python; familiarity with scientific libraries such as numpy, scipy, or equivalent is essential.
• Strong grasp of modeling, simulation, numerical methods, and the ability to solve multi-step problems.
• Capability to design original, challenging problems that accurately represent real physics workflows.
• Exceptional attention to detail along with proficient technical writing skills in English.
• Experience with simulation tools or domain-specific physics software (e.g., finite element tools, circuit simulators, symbolic systems) is a plus.
• Background in areas like computational physics, statistical mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, or related fields is advantageous.
• Experience in evaluating model reasoning, benchmarking, or designing technical assessments is beneficial.
