This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ensure automation processes are operational and proactively identify failures before they impact users.
• Create error reporting systems for missing or unsuccessful reports.
• Investigate silent failures within PSA and other systems.
• Develop new automation solutions for repetitive manual tasks.
• Provide support for the client portal and subsequently for the compliance and training product.
• Manage and maintain internal tools utilized daily by staff.
• Document systems and workflows comprehensively.
• Oversee credential management and hygiene.
• Monitor AI expenditures.
• Keep detailed records of client data locations.
• Advance through staged ownership while acquiring knowledge and documenting processes during the initial three months.
• Previous experience in an MSP or IT service environment.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems, time entry, RMM and PSA data, and MSP business operations.
• Strong instinct for troubleshooting issues.
• Capability to interpret error messages accurately, modify one element at a time, and verify against actual outcomes.
• Demonstrated self-learning, such as through a PowerShell script, advanced spreadsheets, Zapier flows, or personal lab projects.
• Dependability in managing recurring, deadline-driven tasks.
• Openness to receiving and implementing frequent feedback during the initial six months.
• Proficient writing and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Willingness to communicate promptly when facing obstacles.
• Trustworthiness with administrative access across client environments.
• Must reside in the United States.
• Availability to work from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm EST or 8:00 am to 5:00 pm MST.
• Familiarity or willingness to acquire skills in API work, workflow automation, and TypeScript.
• Base salary ranging from $65,000 to $80,000.
• Comprehensive standard benefits package.
• No on-call rotation during the initial ramp-up period.
• Should an on-call rotation be introduced later, it will be compensated and discussed in advance.
• Six months of dedicated ramp-up time.
• Direct training provided by the owner and the Director of IT.
• Formal performance evaluations at three months, six months, and then annually.
• Opportunities for portable skills development in API work, workflow automation, TypeScript, and platform operations.
