AI Solutions Engineer – Azure OpenAI, RAG

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain RAG solutions and conversational assistants utilizing Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, and embedding stores in production.

• Develop and implement prompts for language models (LLMs), incorporating techniques such as prompt chaining, evaluation, and iterative improvement.

• Collaborate across disciplines with engineers and stakeholders to ensure AI outputs are interpretable and aligned with business objectives.

• Integrate AI into software architectures by applying design principles and best engineering practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

• Over 3 years of experience in developing AI/ML solutions or equivalent roles, with demonstrable experience in RAG projects or LLM-based assistants.

• Hands-on experience with vector databases in Azure or AWS environments.

• Knowledge of embedding stores (e.g., Azure Cognitive Search vector store, Pinecone, Milvus, or others) and their integration into RAG pipelines.

• Fluent in English (reading and technical communication) is essential.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
