AI Security Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Identify and address risks associated with AI models, applications, and data pipelines.

• Develop and enforce security protocols for AI/ML systems, infrastructure, models, and data pipelines.

• Evaluate applications and services utilizing AI against both standard and AI-specific threats.

• Perform threat modeling and risk evaluations.

• Monitor systems for unusual behaviors.

• Evaluate and secure endpoints and APIs for model access and inference.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, data scientists, and IT to embed security within systems and infrastructure.

• Provide clients with reports on AI security protocols and policies, and document best practices.

• Create and deliver AI security training for both internal and external stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in cybersecurity with a focus on AI/ML, securing models, and generative AI systems.

• Strong grasp of machine learning workflows, model architecture, and data pipelines.

• Familiarity with adversarial ML, prompt injection, model extraction, data leakage, and similar concepts.

• Proven proficiency in Python and popular ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.

• Knowledge of AI governance, model explainability, and ethical AI principles.

• Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.

• Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Machine Learning, or a related discipline.

• Preferred certifications include CAISS, GMSE, CISSP, OSCP, among others.
