AI Safety Expert – English, Odia

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct red team assessments on conversational AI models and agents through methods such as jailbreaks, prompt injections, misuse scenarios, bias exploitation, and multi-turn manipulation.

• Create human data by annotating errors, classifying vulnerabilities, and identifying systemic risks.

• Utilize taxonomies, benchmarks, and playbooks to ensure consistency in testing.

• Generate reproducible reports, datasets, and attack scenarios for clients.

• Investigate AI systems for vulnerabilities that may be overlooked by automated testing.

• Broaden evaluation coverage and minimize unexpected issues in production.

• Work collaboratively with Mercor’s AI lab and enterprise clients to train and enhance advanced AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess native fluency in both English and Odia.

• Previous experience in red teaming focused on AI adversarial tasks, cybersecurity, or socio-technical probing is essential.

• Capability to adversarially probe systems and guide them towards their failure points.

• Familiarity with frameworks or benchmarks for structured testing is required.

• Proficient in conveying risks effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Flexibility to adapt across various projects and customer needs.

• Candidates must not need H1-B or STEM OPT sponsorship.

• Position requires independent contractor status.
