AI Rust Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Creating systems that enable AI to be integrated directly into developer workflows

• Constructing infrastructure that links language models with the editor and developer tools

• Developing contextual frameworks that assist models in reasoning about extensive codebases

• Designing assessment frameworks for AI-assisted software development

• Enhancing the reliability, response time, and cost-effectiveness of AI functionalities

• Collaborating closely with editor and infrastructure engineers to rapidly implement ideas

• Engaging in pair programming with colleagues to brainstorm ideas and refine systems collaboratively

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in building production systems utilizing large language models

• Deep understanding of model behavior, prompting techniques, and evaluation methods

• Background in integrating AI features into actual software products

• Strong experience in backend or systems programming

• Enthusiasm for developer tools and programming environments

• Ability to work closely with fellow engineers

• Experience with Rust is a plus, or a willingness to learn
