AI Research Resident

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate on a research initiative centered around frontier benchmarks and environments tailored for long-horizon AI agents.

• Identify failure modes within frontier models.

• Create robust benchmarks that assess the performance of frontier agents on intricate, realistic tasks that necessitate long-horizon reasoning and tool utilization in dynamic settings.

• Train autonomous agents capable of reasoning, planning, and acting over prolonged timeframes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an MS or PhD program in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Possess experience in reinforcement learning, benchmarking frontier models, or model post-training.

• Have a background in systems engineering and the ability to write production-quality code.

• Demonstrate a strong publication record.

• Exhibit high agency, act swiftly, and enjoy tackling open-ended research challenges.
