AI Research Engineer – Pre-training, LLM, Multi-Modal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Execute foundational pre-training for LLMs and Multi-Modal models.

• Create, prototype, and expand innovative architectures.

• Source, filter, and assemble large-scale datasets.

• Conduct experiments both independently and in collaboration with others.

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve inefficiencies in model performance.

• Contribute to the evolution of distributed training systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Preferably a PhD in NLP, Machine Learning, or a comparable field.

• Practical experience in large-scale LLM or Multi-Modal pre-training processes.

• Knowledge of large-scale, distributed training frameworks, libraries, and tools.

• In-depth understanding of cutting-edge transformer and non-transformer adaptations.

• Proficient in PyTorch and Hugging Face libraries.
