This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Develops, tests, and refines prompts for use cases in Tax, Assurance, Advisory, and Wealth Management, adhering to the architectural standards and prompt patterns set by the Workflow Architect.
• Creates, maintains, and versions Claude skills and workflow components, overseeing the entire lifecycle from development to testing and production deployment.
• Organizes and curates the Firm’s prompt library, tagging entries by service line, use case type, complexity tier, and validation status to enhance discoverability and facilitate reuse across teams.
• Performs quality assurance testing on AI outputs, validating accuracy, testing edge cases, detecting hallucinations, and ensuring compliance with the Firm’s professional standards.
• Aids the Ambassador network by offering hands-on technical support, troubleshooting workflow issues, and providing implementation guidance when new tools and skills are introduced.
• Documents prompt engineering patterns, skill specifications, and build processes in the CoE knowledge base, creating reference materials that empower the team to scale.
• Collaborates with service line professionals and subject matter experts to gather domain-specific requirements and translate them into prompts and skills that accurately reflect actual workflows.
• Engages in use case intake, assessing submitted ideas from across the Firm for technical feasibility, effort estimates, and alignment with the existing production roadmap.
• Keeps track of AI platform updates and new features (e.g., Anthropic Claude releases, new tool-use, and agentic capabilities) and evaluates their impact on current skills and workflows.
• Contributes to the Firm’s AI training resources by developing prompt examples, conducting live skill demonstrations, and creating technical reference materials for Ambassador enablement.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant certifications in AI/ML platforms (e.g., Anthropic, Microsoft AI, AWS ML) are desirable.
• Hands-on experience in prompt engineering, including the ability to write, test, iterate, and optimize prompts for accuracy, consistency, and usability — or a demonstrated eagerness to quickly develop these skills.
• Familiarity with AI platforms and tools relevant to professional services (e.g., Anthropic Claude, Microsoft Copilot, AI development frameworks) along with a strong willingness to develop extensive technical expertise on the job.
• Strong process orientation with the capability to adhere to established architectural standards, maintain version control, execute structured build-test-deploy workflows, and keep the prompt library organized.
• Analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail, especially in assessing AI output quality, identifying patterns in failure modes, and conducting systematic, repeatable testing.
• Willingness to learn about Cherry Bekaert’s Tax, Assurance, Advisory, and Wealth Management domains — gaining sufficient knowledge to build prompts and skills that align with professionals’ actual workflows.
• Strong written communication skills, including the ability to produce clear technical documentation, maintain knowledge bases, and develop training materials that are accessible to non-technical colleagues.
• A collaborative working style well-suited for a small, cross-functional team, with comfort in engaging with service line professionals, Ambassadors, and technical colleagues across various levels.
