AI Product Chief Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the comprehensive technical architecture of Sparkrock's SIS platform, which includes legacy VB6/COM/T-SQL systems as well as modern C# components.

• Guide AI coding agents (Claude Code) to execute architectural decisions—your designs are brought to life by the agents.

• Establish and uphold architectural guidelines: delineate domain boundaries, set coding standards, and define integration patterns for AI agents to adhere to.

• Assess AI-generated code for architectural integrity and ensure it behaves equivalently to legacy logic.

• Engage in reviewing requirements and specifications, granting architectural approval before any work commences.

• Promote ongoing enhancement of agent workflows, prompts, and established guidelines.

• Conduct technical Deep Dives and Root Cause Analyses (RCAs); maintain quality on incoming epics; manage resolution of production outages.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in software development, including more than 5 years in an architect or technical lead role.

• Profound knowledge of C#/.NET technologies (.NET Core/8, ASP.NET Web API).

• Extensive hands-on experience with T-SQL—creating, managing, and troubleshooting complex stored procedures where business logic is embedded in the database.

• Demonstrated capability to navigate extensive legacy codebases (VB6, VB.NET, COM, Classic ASP).

• Currently engaged in an AI-first environment—utilizes coding agents as the primary development tool in your current position.

• Excellent asynchronous written communication skills (ideal for a remote-first team).

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
