AI Product Chief Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete technical architecture of Sparkrock's SIS platform, which includes both legacy VB6/COM/T-SQL systems and contemporary C# layers.

• Guide AI coding agents (Claude Code) in executing architectural decisions — you design, and the agents build.

• Establish and enforce architectural guidelines: domain boundaries, coding standards, and integration patterns for AI agents to adhere to.

• Evaluate AI-generated code for architectural accuracy and its behavioral equivalence to existing legacy logic.

• Engage in requirements and specification evaluations, offering architectural approval prior to project initiation.

• Promote ongoing enhancement of agent workflows, prompts, and guidelines.

• Lead technical deep dives and root cause analyses; ensure quality for incoming epics; and address production outages.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in an architect or technical lead role.

• Extensive expertise in C#/.NET (.NET Core/8, ASP.NET Web API).

• Significant hands-on experience with T-SQL — creating, managing, and troubleshooting complex stored procedures where business logic resides within the database.

• Demonstrated ability to work with large legacy codebases (VB6, VB.NET, COM, Classic ASP).

• Currently utilizing AI-first approaches — employing coding agents as the primary development tool in your present role.

• Strong asynchronous written communication skills (remote-first team).

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
