AI Product Chief Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the comprehensive technical architecture for Sparkrock's SIS platform, which includes both legacy VB6/COM/T-SQL systems and modern C# components.

• Guide AI coding agents (Claude Code) in executing architectural decisions — you design while the agents handle the implementation.

• Establish and uphold architectural guardrails, including domain boundaries, coding conventions, and integration patterns for AI agents to adhere to.

• Evaluate AI-generated code to ensure architectural integrity and behavioral equivalence with existing legacy logic.

• Engage in requirements and specification reviews, granting architectural approval prior to the commencement of work.

• Propel continuous enhancement of agent workflows, prompts, and guardrails.

• Lead technical Deep Dives and Root Cause Analyses (RCAs); maintain quality standards for incoming epics; and address production outages.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in an architectural or technical lead role.

• Extensive expertise in C#/.NET, specifically with .NET Core/8 and ASP.NET Web API.

• Significant hands-on experience with T-SQL, including writing, managing, and troubleshooting complex stored procedures that encapsulate business logic within the database.

• Demonstrated ability to navigate substantial legacy codebases (VB6, VB.NET, COM, Classic ASP).

• Currently engaged in an AI-first approach — utilizing coding agents as the primary development tool in your existing position.

• Strong written communication skills, particularly in asynchronous environments (remote-first team).

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
