AI Product Chief Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the comprehensive technical architecture for Sparkrock's SIS platform, encompassing both legacy VB6/COM/T-SQL systems and contemporary C# layers.

• Guide AI coding agents (Claude Code) in executing architectural decisions — you design while the agents build.

• Establish and enforce architectural guidelines: domain boundaries, coding standards, and integration patterns for AI agents to adhere to.

• Assess AI-generated code for architectural accuracy and behavioral consistency with legacy logic.

• Engage in requirements and specification reviews, granting architectural approval prior to the commencement of work.

• Propel the ongoing enhancement of agent workflows, prompts, and guidelines.

• Lead in-depth technical discussions and root cause analyses (RCAs); maintain quality on incoming epics; address production outages.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in an architect or technical lead role.

• Extensive expertise in C#/.NET (including .NET Core/8 and ASP.NET Web API).

• Significant hands-on experience with T-SQL — responsible for writing, owning, and debugging complex stored procedures where business logic resides in the database.

• Demonstrated ability to navigate large legacy codebases (including VB6, VB.NET, COM, and Classic ASP).

• Currently utilizing AI-first methodologies — employing coding agents as the primary development tool in your existing position.

• Excellent asynchronous written communication skills (suitable for a remote-first team).

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
