AI Product Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Nymbus is developing the next wave of fintech platforms.

• Responsible for the architecture from system design to production hardening.

• Work in collaboration with Builders and Shippers to achieve end-to-end outcomes.

• Define and implement design patterns, create essential technical components, enhance solutions for production, and manage operational architecture using an AI-first approach.

• Function as one-third of a highly autonomous squad that takes ownership of outcomes from problem identification to production operation.

• Design and implement the foundational components.

• Utilize AI-driven tools to evaluate architectural alternatives and expedite design reviews and implementations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering, with substantial experience as a software architect, solution architect, or similar technical design authority for enterprise-level production software.

• Proven capability to convert architecture into functional software by designing and implementing foundational components, shared services, and technical frameworks.

• Strong practical engineering skills and a commitment to regularly deploy production code in areas such as event processing, data access, integrations, observability, security, and platform services.

• Demonstrated ability to define and implement architectural patterns across APIs, data, integrations, testing, security, deployment, and operations.

• In-depth understanding of REST APIs, event-driven architectures, data modeling, distributed system trade-offs, resiliency, and integration design.

• Experience in establishing non-functional requirements, automated testing standards, observability patterns, deployment methodologies, and technical release criteria.

• Ability to manage priorities across two product squads, make pragmatic trade-offs, and work closely with Builders, Shippers, Security, and other Architects.
