AI Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Oversee the health of OCI services, including monitoring logs, dashboards, and alerts.

• Diagnose platform-related issues and address concerns within customer environments.

• Assist development teams by providing support for infrastructure inquiries and deployment requirements.

• Manage the performance of CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot any deployment failures.

• Carry out provisioning, onboarding, and configuration requests efficiently.

• Revise documentation and architectural artifacts as the infrastructure progresses.

• Engage in standups, planning sessions, and technical evaluations.

• Analyze OCI consumption reports, billing dashboards, and identify cost optimization opportunities.

• Perform audits of IAM, security, and credentials.

• Review reference architecture environments for configuration discrepancies and necessary updates.

• Enhance deployment methodologies, runbooks, and onboarding documentation.

• Evaluate updates to the Oracle OCI roadmap and emerging platform capabilities.

• Provide contributions to technical documentation, architecture recommendations, and internal knowledge-sharing resources.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in AI Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, MLOps, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering.

• Extensive experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), encompassing:

• Expertise in deploying and maintaining AI agents, microservices, or cloud-native applications.

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, LangFuse, OCI Logging, and Metrics APIs.

• Understanding of TLS, DNS, ACME protocols, Let's Encrypt, and automation of certificates.

• Proficient in using CI/CD tools, source control systems, deployment pipelines, and artifact management.

• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and Bash scripting.

• Excellent technical writing, documentation, and architecture diagramming abilities.

• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
