AI Penetration Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Conduct security evaluations of AI systems, large language models (LLMs), AI agents, and machine learning applications.

• Execute adversarial testing, which includes prompt injection, jailbreaks, model manipulation, and testing for potential abuse cases.

• Carry out security testing for applications, APIs, and cloud infrastructures to support AI-enabled solutions.

• Develop standardized methodologies, tools, and automation processes for AI security testing.

• Collaborate with development and engineering teams to validate findings and implement remediation strategies.

• Create technical reports and executive summaries that effectively communicate risks and recommendations.

• Investigate emerging threats and attack techniques related to AI.

• Assist in red team exercises that involve AI-enabled attack scenarios.

⛳️ Requirements

• Typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Possession of multiple Information Security certifications from reputable institutions (e.g., (ISC)2, ISACA, SANS).

• Advanced experience in penetration testing across web applications, APIs, and cloud environments.

• Practical experience in assessing AI/LLM technologies, AI agents, machine learning models, or generative AI applications.

• In-depth knowledge of offensive security methodologies and adversarial attack techniques.

• Proficiency in Python scripting and the development/automation of security tools.

• Familiarity with the OWASP Top 10, API Security Top 10, and emerging OWASP LLM Security risks.

• Experience in performing threat modeling and security assessments.

• Strong grasp of authentication, authorization, identity management, and cloud security concepts.

• Capability to clearly document findings and provide remediation recommendations.
