This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Automation and AI Implementation: Recognizing, designing, and executing automation prospects using AI technology, machine learning, and robotic process automation (RPA) to enhance workflows. Identify bottlenecks in processes and apply practical solutions.
• AI Tool Enhancement: Actively observe the automation and AI environment, create structured evaluations for new tools, and lead stakeholder consensus for the adoption or discontinuation of tools, taking ownership of the results of these decisions. Oversee, maintain, and enhance the existing AI toolchain to ensure data governance and ongoing performance improvements.
• Risk Management: Utilize AI for proactive, predictive maintenance and risk evaluation to avert operational failures, primarily focusing on Finance, Human Resources, and Operations.
• Performance Monitoring (ROI): Establishing and tracking key performance indicators (e.g., efficiency improvements, decrease in manual efforts) to assess the effectiveness of automated solutions.
• Assistance with month-end closing and internal reporting: Aid in optimizing the financial closing process; automate data extraction and variance analysis along with other recurring tasks.
• Responsibility for finance tools: Such as NetSuite OneWorld, Sigma, Spiff, Yokoy, Deel, among others, and their integrations/APIs, ensuring configurations comply with finance policies and maintaining accurate data flow while managing any external consultants.
• Information-security initiatives and audits: Implement technical solutions that bolster our security framework, and support ISO 27001/SOC 2 or other audit processes.
• Data integrity, backups, and availability: Schedule and oversee system exports, snapshots, and core IT backups; maintain retention policies to ensure data completeness and recoverability.
• User assistance, training, and documentation: Resolve finance system issues, maintain runbooks, and conduct regular training sessions for all Operations teams and other stakeholders on system usage and security best practices.
• Collaborate and mentor the HRIS Manager, who oversees the HR systems/tech stack, in identifying and executing automation opportunities and AI applications to enhance efficiencies while considering the employee experience.
• Education and Certifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Business Informatics, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred. A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA) and/or NetSuite credentials (SuiteFoundation, Administrator) are advantageous, but not mandatory.
• Overall Experience: A minimum of 6+ years in finance or HR/people operations, or workflow automation in operations/back-office departments within fast-paced companies, ideally in a SaaS or technology-driven setting.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Claude Code is required, with familiarity in SuiteScript/workflow configuration or Javascript. Knowledge of SQL/Python would be beneficial.
• Proficient in Google Sheets/Excel modeling and capable of replacing those tools.
• Understanding of best coding practices, such as version control, structured error management, workflow testing, release notes, and a strong command of Git.
• Comprehensive knowledge of APIs, webhooks, and JSON-based integrations.
• At least 3 of those years spent working with NetSuite OneWorld (or a similar ERP) in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment; hands-on experience with at least one satellite tool (Sigma, Spiff, Yokoy, Deel, etc.).
• Familiarity with HRIS and ATS systems (BambooHR, Greenhouse, and similar).
• Good working knowledge of N8N, Zapier, Celigo, and familiarity with Sigma or similar BI visualization tools.
• Exceptional and practical decision-making abilities, with the capacity to evaluate multiple options and identify the optimal choice to achieve a specified objective.
• Excellent English communication and writing skills; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
