This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee the design and execution of intricate data hall infrastructure projects.
• Create comprehensive layouts for computing, storage, networking, structured cabling, power, and cooling systems.
• Manage project tasks across engineering, operations, and deployment teams.
• Lead small engineering teams while offering coaching, mentoring, and technical support.
• Assess and authorize engineering designs and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with design standards, quality benchmarks, and operational best practices.
• Conduct advanced troubleshooting and assist with infrastructure optimization efforts.
• Engage in customer meetings, technical evaluations, and project planning sessions.
• Recognize risks, dependencies, and design limitations while suggesting mitigation strategies.
• In-depth knowledge of data center architecture and infrastructure systems.
• Over 5 years of experience in data center infrastructure design or engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in leading projects or mentoring less experienced engineers.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and technical documentation.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
