AI Infrastructure DC Design Engineer I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop and revise straightforward AutoCAD drawings and layouts for cabinets, rack elevations, structured cabling, and fundamental infrastructure components.

• Assist in the documentation of data hall designs, asset tracking, and revisions of drawings.

• Contribute to capacity planning and perform basic assessments of infrastructure.

• Adhere to established design standards, templates, and operational procedures.

• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to collect project requirements and updates.

• Engage in quality reviews and integrate feedback from senior engineers.

• Ensure accurate maintenance of project documentation and design records.

• Acquire knowledge of data center design principles, cabling standards, and best operational practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fundamental understanding of data center infrastructure concepts.

• Experience with AutoCAD or comparable drafting software.

• Strong attention to detail and a readiness to learn.

• An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field is preferred.
