AI Infrastructure Data Center Deployment Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Serve as a key member in the deployment of major clusters and data center installations while also being available to assist with smaller on-premise deployments as required.

• Enhance your expertise in new data center deployments, deployment planning, and the technical infrastructure of AI and cluster configurations.

• Maintain effective communication with project management, Supply Chain, HPC logical configuration, and Data Center Operations teams during the planning and execution of deployments.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to tackle deployment-related issues and enhance regional operations.

• Liaise with vendors to oversee the construction of Lambda data center, ensuring adherence to strict standards.

• Grasp the power/cooling requirements and cabling necessities within the data center space to support high-performance infrastructures and direct data center build-outs.

• Engage in technical discussions and contribute insights on data center integration and deployment strategies.

• Collaborate closely with various teams, including Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Supply Chain, Customer Experience, and Sales, to ensure data center solutions align with business objectives.

• Be knowledgeable about infrastructure components (compute, storage, networking) utilized in deployments, understanding component configuration and integration to guide system deployments, design, and operations.

• Work with stakeholders to ascertain customer needs and convert them into actionable plans.

• Collaborate with Hardware Engineering and Architecture teams to define operational standards and requirements for infrastructure deployments.

• Adhere to best practices and guidelines to ensure efficient and consistent data center operations.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations pertaining to data center safety.

• Recognize opportunities for process enhancements and operational efficiencies in data center integration and deployment.

• Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

• Propel innovation and suggest new solutions to improve data center operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in data center operations and integration, ideally in a leadership capacity.

• Background in large-scale data center and infrastructure deployments.

• Familiarity with data center design, deployment, and architecture principles.

• Knowledge of deployment planning processes.

• Understanding of industry standards and regulations related to data center operations.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to tackle data center challenges effectively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Ability to provide guidance to multiple teams involved in system deployments.

• Familiarity with hardware engineering, supply chain, and inventory management processes (e.g., NetBox, Jira).

• Knowledge of high-performance computing technologies and their integration into data center operations.

• Expertise in DGX & HGX-based systems architecture.

• Relevant professional certifications in data center operations and integration.
