AI Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Leverage expertise in OneStream, AI, and enterprise software to assist customers in delivering transformative AI solutions within the OneStream ecosystem.

• Conduct hands-on implementations focused on AI, manage expansion projects, and oversee established deployments.

• Engage, collaborate, and present findings to developers, sponsors, and executive leadership.

• Coordinate the SensibleAI Portfolio—Forecast, Studio, and Agents—integrated with the OneStream core platform.

• Create reusable demonstrations, implementations, checklists, workflows, best practices, and instructional videos.

• Identify and resolve field issues related to AI solutions.

• Document decisions and trade-offs made during the process.

• Provide structured guidance to Delivery and Partner teams.

• Work alongside AI Delivery to refine solutions for production readiness.

• Collaborate with AI Engineering to channel insights and identify product gaps for roadmap development.

• Communicate directly with finance and data teams.

• Partner with FDEs to enhance capability and consistency throughout the ecosystem.

• Lead workshops and facilitate office hours.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or a relevant combination of education and experience.

• 0–2 years of software engineering experience, particularly in data science, AI, or machine learning concepts.

• 1–2 years of industry experience in Applied Artificial Intelligence and/or Machine Learning.

• 1–3 years of experience in delivering or implementing enterprise software solutions in FP&A/CPM/EPM or data/AI platforms, including at least 1 year in customer-facing build roles.

• Proven track record in contributing to POCs or initial implementations that progressed to scaled rollouts or productized assets.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Experience in data modeling and ETL/ELT processes.

• Familiarity with REST APIs.

• Basic knowledge of identity/security principles.

• Proficient in Python and/or C#.

• Experience with automation and packaging.

• Familiarity with containerization is an advantage.

• Skilled in producing insightful data visualizations of complex concepts and datasets.

• Direct experience with OneStream implementations or developing Genesis Blocks / Marketplace content is preferred.

• Previous experience in a Forward Deployed Engineering role is preferred.

• Knowledgeable in forecasting, LLM applications, or CPM modeling, with comprehensive understanding across data, integrations, and platform operations.

• Hypothesis-driven mindset and comfort in navigating ambiguity.

• Strong skills in documentation and diagramming.

• Ability to work collaboratively across functions such as Product, Engineering, Delivery, Customer Success, Presales, and Partners.

• Capable of applying data privacy and governance principles in solution design.

• Comfortable engaging and presenting to management-level executives.

• Must be legally authorized to work for any company in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
