AI Engineering Internship

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain RAG pipelines, including ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector search, and reranking;

• Develop and optimize prompts, tools, and agent workflows utilizing Azure OpenAI and Gemini/Vertex AI;

• Create APIs in Python (FastAPI) to provide solutions;

• Conduct model quality assessments using test datasets, metrics, and error analysis;

• Prepare and manage client data from PDFs, spreadsheets, and structured databases;

• Assist in technical documentation and proof-of-concept efforts for pre-sales activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in: Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics, Data Science, or related disciplines (at least one year left until graduation);

• Proficient in Python (beyond notebooks: comprehension of functions, classes, error handling, and virtual environments);

• Experience with Git and command-line operations;

• Understanding of REST APIs and JSON;

• Proficient in English for interpreting technical documentation;

• A genuine interest in generative AI; personal experience testing LLMs independently is highly regarded.

• Involvement in personal projects utilizing LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, or agent SDKs;

• Experience with SQL and data manipulation using pandas;

• Familiarity with Docker;

• Knowledge of vector databases such as Azure AI Search, pgvector, Qdrant.
