AI Engineering Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sri Lanka.

📋 Description

• Assist in AI engineering and automation projects.

• Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts utilizing AI tools and APIs.

• Investigate and assess new and emerging AI technologies.

• Aid in prompt engineering and the automation of workflows.

• Support the integration and experimentation with large language models (LLMs).

• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Quality Assurance teams.

• Document technical insights, concepts, and implementation strategies.

• Assist in testing and enhancing AI-driven features.

• Keep abreast of AI trends and disseminate insights with the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree/diploma program in IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science, AI, or a related discipline.

• Strong enthusiasm for AI, automation, and cutting-edge technologies.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Eagerness to learn rapidly and experiment independently.

• A positive mindset and a strong work ethic.

• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team-oriented environment.

• Proficient English communication skills.

• Coding mindset with a keen interest in creating practical solutions.

• Technical exposure (preferred but not mandatory):

• Python programming.

• JavaScript / TypeScript.

• APIs and integrations.

• Experience with OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or similar LLM platforms.

• Knowledge of prompt engineering.

• Familiarity with AI automation tools.

• Experience with Git, GitHub, or version control systems.

• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Basic knowledge of LLMs and AI workflows.
