AI Engineering I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the design and development of platforms and systems powered by AI, collaborating with senior engineers on intricate initiatives.

• Take responsibility for the complete delivery of complex projects, from identifying problems and designing systems to rolling out solutions and iterating on them.

• Create features driven by AI, implement intelligent automation, and develop agentic systems that enhance customer experiences and boost team productivity.

• Integrate AI functionalities into current team workflows, products, and processes, ensuring a seamless incorporation of solutions.

• Embed AI capabilities into products that face customers, internal tools, and operational workflows.

• Develop full-stack components that encompass backend services, APIs, data layers, and frontend interfaces.

• Convert business and operational challenges into sustainable, AI-enabled technical solutions with support from senior team members.

• Utilize systems thinking to ensure that reliability, performance, and security are prioritized across all platforms.

• Collaborate with engineers, teams, and stakeholders throughout the organization to grasp requirements and deliver effective solutions.

• Engage in production support and incident response for systems owned by the team, acquiring best practices in operations.

• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing to enhance skills continuously and contribute to the growth of the team.

• Have familiarity with Braze or comparable consumer-facing CRM platforms, as well as various B2C digital marketing channels such as affiliate, CTV, paid social, paid search, GEO/SEO, and DSP.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of professional experience in software engineering, AI engineering, platform engineering, or similar roles.

• Practical experience in designing, constructing, and deploying AI-powered systems in production settings.

• Strong skills in Python, SQL, and frontend frameworks like React.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and managing production-grade full-stack systems.

• Experience with distributed systems, internal platforms, or intricate data workflows.

• Ability to navigate effectively through ambiguous problem areas and drive solutions with minimal guidance.
