AI Engineer – Specialist II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Execute comparative experiments utilizing various LLMs, agents, and GenAI architectures in real business scenarios;

• Design, enhance, and advance RAG pipelines, including strategies for chunking, embeddings, retrieval, and ongoing evaluation;

• Develop structured evaluation and benchmarking frameworks for GenAI applications, focusing on quality, relevance, reliability, costs, latency, and compliance with use cases;

• Assess performance, costs, and ROI of AI-driven solutions, aiding in prioritization and scaling choices;

• Assist in determining the appropriate use of Prompt Engineering, RAG, Fine-Tuning, or multi-agent architectures, weighing technical and business trade-offs;

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, and Leadership teams to pinpoint areas where AI can enhance digital product strategies and add value to the Business Unit;

• Convert technical findings into clear recommendations for roadmap, architecture, governance, and capability enhancement;

• Contribute to the establishment of best practices, technical standards, and responsible GenAI usage within the organization;

• Aid in crafting an applied AI vision for Marketing Services, aligning technology trends with the genuine needs of customers, partners, and products;

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science, MLOps, or related domains;

• Practical experience with GenAI and LLMs in actual business contexts;

• Experience in designing, assessing, and advancing solutions involving RAG, embeddings, retrieval, and/or agents;

• Background in initiatives linking AI to digital products, operational efficiency, automation, or enhancing customer journeys;

• Advanced skills in Python programming;

• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience managing large datasets;

• Solid understanding of statistics, data analysis, and experimentation techniques;

• Experience in evaluating generative models, including both traditional metrics and LLM-based methodologies;

• Familiarity with LLM frameworks and ecosystems such as OpenAI SDK, LangChain, CrewAI, or similar alternatives;

• Capability to document trade-offs and translate technical insights into actionable recommendations;
