AI Engineer – Offensive Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• You will design and develop systems and agents powered by LLM that are integrated into and capable of executing authentic offensive security operations.

• Autonomous hacking agents. LLM-based agents that carry out complete attacks with minimal human involvement.

• Agent architecture. Incorporating planning loops, tool utilization, memory, and state management that enable agents to reason through extensive, multi-step attack sequences.

• Prompting and orchestration. Converting attacker workflows and tactics into prompts, decision graphs, and orchestration frameworks.

• Tool integration. Creating custom agent tools, incorporating third-party tools, and encapsulating the offensive security toolchain into agent-accessible interfaces.

• AI feature development. Developing AI solutions that address real-world challenges.

• Evaluation and benchmarking. Constructing evaluation harnesses and realistic target environments.

• False positive reduction. Engaging in validation logic and reasoning processes that mitigate hallucinated vulnerabilities.

• Production reliability. Creating systems that are testable, observable, and maintainable.

• Broader applied AI and tool research.


⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in building with LLMs - utilizing tools such as Claude Code and Codex to develop projects and enhance development workflows.

• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript - you have the capability to write and deliver dependable code.

• Some background in AI solution development: even if on a small scale, you possess experience in writing prompts, considering tool usage, agent loops, and/or AI evaluation.

• A strong sense of ownership and a self-motivated attitude.

• A holistic thinker who is at ease with uncertainty.

• Excellent written communication skills.

• Professional experience in offensive security: penetration testing, red teaming, bug bounty, or a similar field.

• Robust production engineering capabilities: architecting and managing systems from start to finish, including deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
