AI Engineer – Junior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create, implement, and enhance sophisticated prompts, reasoning chains (chains), and interaction flows with LLMs to generate responses that are coherent, valuable, and aligned with business objectives;

• Establish and sustain quality assessments for generative AI solutions, which include defining metrics, creating validation datasets, and continuously monitoring performance;

• Set and apply guardrails, response patterns, and strategies to reduce hallucinations, ensuring safety, reliability, and adherence to internal and regulatory guidelines;

• Work alongside product, engineering, and business teams to translate requirements into LLM-based solutions, aiding in technical decision-making;

• Assist in implementing security and privacy best practices, including preventing sensitive data leakage (PII) and ensuring responsible usage of language models;

• Participate in controlled experiments, such as A/B testing, prompt tuning, and method comparisons to enhance the user experience continuously;

• Document solutions, insights, and technical patterns, fostering reproducibility, scalability, and knowledge sharing within the team.

• Practical experience with LLMs (specifying models, use cases, and results)

• Proficient in prompting techniques, prompt structures, few-shot methods, and tool utilization

• Evaluation skills: quality metrics, A/B testing, and validation datasets

• Knowledge of security and privacy: prevention of data leakage, PII management, and compliance with policies

• Familiarity with RAG (embeddings, chunking, retrievers), vectors, and relevance

• Experience in product integration: APIs, chat user experience, and logging
