AI Engineer I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the design and development of platforms and systems powered by AI, collaborating with senior engineers on intricate projects.

• Take ownership of the complete delivery process for complex projects, from identifying problems and designing systems to rolling out and iterating in production.

• Develop AI-driven features, intelligent automation, and agentic systems that enhance customer experiences and boost team productivity.

• Integrate AI capabilities seamlessly into existing team workflows, products, and processes, ensuring natural incorporation of solutions.

• Incorporate AI functionalities into customer-facing products, internal tools, and operational workflows.

• Create full-stack components that encompass backend services, APIs, data layers, and frontend interfaces.

• Convert business and operational challenges into maintainable, AI-enabled technical solutions under the guidance of senior team members.

• Utilize systems thinking to guarantee reliability, performance, and security across platforms.

• Collaborate with engineers, teams, and stakeholders throughout the organization to comprehend requirements and deliver impactful solutions.

• Participate in production support and incident response for systems owned by the team, gaining insights into operational best practices.

• Engage in code reviews and share knowledge to continuously enhance skills and contribute to the team's growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of professional experience in software engineering, AI engineering, platform engineering, or similar roles.

• Practical experience in designing, building, and deploying AI-powered systems in production environments.

• Strong expertise in Python, SQL, and frontend frameworks like React.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and managing production-grade full-stack systems.

• Experience with distributed systems, internal platforms, or intricate data workflows.

• Ability to navigate effectively in ambiguous problem spaces and drive solutions with minimal guidance.
