AI Engineer, Freelancer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• **What you'll do**

• - Integrate AI capabilities into current Node.js / Ruby / Python / React / React Native codebases

• - Develop LLM-driven features such as chat, summaries, classification, smart search, and document Q&A

• - Create efficient RAG pipelines utilizing embeddings and vector search

• - Engage with vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone, Qdrant)

• - Establish secure and dependable LLM endpoints (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure)

• - Collaborate with PMs and clients to define feasible AI functionalities and streamline workflows to minimize manual tasks

• - Counsel clients on when not to implement AI and assess trade-offs involving latency, accuracy, cost, and maintainability

⛳️ Requirements

• **What We’re Looking For**

• - Robust software engineering experience (Node.js or Ruby preferred)

• - Proven experience in integrating LLM APIs into production environments

• - Capability to devise practical AI solutions within established architectures

• - Comprehension of cost, latency, and reliability factors in AI systems

• - Proficiency in articulating AI limitations to clients and managing realistic expectations

• - Excellent communication skills and a consultative approach

• - English proficiency at B2/C1 level

• - Availability for part-time or full-time work (B2B contract)

• - Familiarity with contemporary AI tools: LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Vercel AI SDK
