AI Engineer Co-Op

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design & Develop Agentic Systems: Create intelligent agents capable of autonomous planning, reasoning, and task execution, utilizing LLMs (such as GPT-class, LLaMA), multi-modal models, and autonomous workflows.

• Orchestration & Frameworks: Implement agent orchestration through frameworks like LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, or bespoke solutions.

• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG): Design and enhance RAG pipelines to improve reasoning with external knowledge, encompassing document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector stores, and retrieval ranking.

• Tool & Memory Integration: Develop agents that interact with APIs, databases, and other tools, manage memory, and adapt based on results.

• Evaluation & Monitoring: Establish evaluation frameworks to assess accuracy, grounding, latency, and cost; create observability for agent behavior and potential failure modes.

• Model Adaptation: Fine-tune or modify foundation models (for instance, through LoRA or adapters) for specific domain applications.

• Production Deployment: Deploy GenAI/agentic systems in cloud-native environments with CI/CD, version control, and runtime protections.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, product teams, and governance/compliance stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in AI/ML system design, deployment, or the development of autonomous agents.

• Programming: Strong proficiency in Python (and occasionally Java, C#) for AI/ML solution development.

• Agent & Workflow Expertise: Familiarity with agent orchestration frameworks and multi-agent communication protocols.

• RAG & LLM Integration: Practical experience with RAG architectures, evaluation methods, and LLM integration.

• Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with cloud platforms (such as Azure, AWS) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Governance & Compliance: Knowledge of responsible AI practices, security measures, and compliance in regulated industries (such as retail).
