AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Cultivate an environment that encourages proactive problem-solving and taking initiative.

• Develop reference codebases tailored for the social sector.

• Provide guidance and support to NGOs creating generative AI products.

• Consolidate data from various sources into a unified source of truth for organizational analytics.

• Open-source significant innovations derived from in-kind contributions.

• Design internal tools for conducting experiments across digital services, such as content, scheduling, and nudges.

• Assist in organizing workshops and seminars focused on research methodologies and personalized interventions.

• Perform site visits to observe NGO operations and formulate technical recommendations.

• Execute rapid development and deployment cycles.

• Mentor NGO personnel on industry best practices, culture, and tooling.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of relevant engineering experience in technology and product-driven organizations.

• Expertise in TypeScript, React, and other web technologies.

• Proficiency in a backend programming language; the company utilizes Python.

• Experience in proposing, designing, and implementing rigorous experiments that yield clear insights and product recommendations using R, SQL, or Python.

• Familiarity with relational databases, including PostgreSQL or MySQL.

• Strong skills in data engineering and the integration of diverse data sources.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Interest in large language models (LLMs) and generative AI; direct experience is not essential.
