AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain APIs utilizing the FastAPI framework.

• Employ background tasks and asynchronous processing to enhance system efficiency.

• Design and develop features and pipelines powered by LLMs (RAG, agents, tool utilization, multi-step reasoning chains).

• Engage in context engineering — structuring prompts, managing context windows, optimizing token usage, and implementing retrieval strategies to provide LLMs with the right information at the right moment.

• Collaborate with LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI, etc.) and orchestration frameworks.

• Develop evaluation and testing frameworks for LLM outputs (accuracy, hallucination detection, regression testing).

• Implement guardrails, content filtering, and responsible AI patterns.

• Optimize latency and costs for LLM-intensive workloads (caching, streaming, batching).

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that follows industry best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 2-4 years of experience in Python development.

• Demonstrated experience with the FastAPI framework.

• Proficiency in managing MongoDB database systems.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.

• Capacity to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is advantageous.
