AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and implement AI-driven applications utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and Machine Learning technologies.

• Create AI Copilots, AI Agents, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions to enhance software engineering, testing, documentation, and operational processes.

• Develop smart automation solutions for generating test cases, analyzing defects, managing knowledge, performing predictive analytics, and optimizing processes.

• Integrate AI functionalities into enterprise applications, APIs, Azure cloud services, and DevSecOps pipelines.

• Assess new AI technologies and swiftly produce Proofs of Concept (PoCs).

• Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, testers, and business stakeholders to identify and apply cutting-edge AI solutions.

• Ensure all AI implementations adhere to VA cybersecurity, privacy, accessibility, and Trustworthy AI standards.

• Efficiently manage multiple tasks and deadlines, guaranteeing the timely delivery of high-quality outputs.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship (mandatory for VA contract eligibility).

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, artificial intelligence, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of comprehensive software engineering experience.

• At least 2 years of practical experience in developing AI, Machine Learning, or Generative AI solutions.

• Proficient programming skills in Python.

• Familiarity with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, or analogous LLM platforms.

• Experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or similar AI technologies.

• Proven experience in building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications and AI Agents.

• Skilled in developing REST APIs using FastAPI or equivalent frameworks.

• Knowledge of Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD processes, Docker, and cloud-native development practices.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
